With a DMin, MDiv, and MBA, she integrates theological depth with organizational excellence—building pathways for mentorship, advocacy, and impact across church and society. As Visionary & Executive Director, Dr. Bynum advances the Clergy Women Leadership Council’s commitment to equip, affirm, and mobilize women clergy through training, networks, and a movement that champions faith-driven reforms for a more just and compassionate world.

Aug. 13, 2023, the Clergy Women Leadership Council (CWLC) was founded from a passion to empower women in ministry. Emerging from Greater Faith International Ministry, it became a vital resource for equality, equity, training, and development.
2023 – Articulating Vision: CWLC, under the leadership of Dr. Cynthia F. Bynum, affirms scholars, church leaders, and influencers for positive change, simultaneously creating a strong foundation for advocacy and leadership.
2025 – Inaugural BAD Women in Ministry Conference: CWLC convened its first BAD (Bold, Anointed, Dedicated) Women in Ministry Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, expanding spaces of empowerment and advocacy for clergy women everywhere.
The Clergy Women Leadership Council (CWLC) exists to equip, affirm, and mobilize women as equal partners in leadership ministry while remembering equity. Through training, mentorship, advocacy, and collective support, CWLC advances equality in ministry, celebrates the impact of women leaders, and champions faith-driven reforms that uplift both the Church and society.
